Smashwords interview

I’ve now decided to release my book on Smashwords.

After looking at a lot of different options, I’ve come to the conclusion this is the best option for me at this time.

While the book itself is not quite ready, I have already signed up for Smashwords and you will be able to read a short interview on my profile, while waiting for the book to be uploaded.
You can find it here: Smashwords Interview

Thank you for any and all support on this very exciting journey in my life.

Feedback

Hey guys.

I wanted you all to know that I’ve now shared my book with a few friends.
I’m still in the early editing stages, but so much has changed already.
This is my very first opportunity to get some feedback on my story, and I’m now biting my nails as I wait for feedback.
I’ve tried to convey to them how much it means to me that they’ve “volunteered” to read this book, but I don’t think they quite understand.
Allowing people to read it is scary.
I know, the book is indeed intended to be read, but still, it’s a very humbling feeling to be compared to a world of excellent writers.
The fact they want to read MY book, baffles me.
Who am I to think I’ve got something good on my hands, right?
Well, time will tell.
Anyway, I’m forever grateful to the handful few, the ones who are about to tell me if I’m on to something or just completely lost.
Such are the current feelings of an aspiring writer.

Thank you – Gry

Dreams Come True

Are you a daydreamer?
Are you one of those people who goes to concerts or movie premieres just so you can see your favorite artist/band or actor/actress up close?
Do you wait for hours outside a venue because it’s General Admission, and you want to make sure you can stand front row for the show?
Do you sacrifice sleep, food and money to see that person, your super-hot lead singer of a band, or the drummer and his massive biceps?
Or even, the beautiful actress, looking flawless at her premiere?
If all of the above is true in your case, well then you have a treat coming
your way.
My book, Love Comes Twice, covers it all.
It’s about being one in a crowd of thousands of fans.
It’s about meeting friends who share your passion for a band or artist or any other famous person, for that matter.
It’s all about that daydream.
Let’s face it; We’ve all been there, right?
What if this gorgeous actress looks at me?
What if the superstar picks me out of the crowd?
What if the drummer throws me that drumstick and then wants to meet?
What if, just what if, we fall in love?
Okay, so it is just a daydream.
Maybe it’s mine, maybe it’s yours, maybe it’s all imaginary.
But wouldn’t it be awesome?

Check out the first, raw excerpt from my book here.

Welcome!

It sounds easy, just writing a book.
I am currently writing my debut novel. Or in fact, it’s written, I’ve moved on to editing.
But anyone can do it, right?
And you can, truly.
Taking steps towards publishing it though; well that takes you through an ocean of decisions.
I’ve made some decisisons already, one more important than others:
I will publish my book by myself.
That is quite a goal to set and it honestly frightens me a little.
I’m convinced I’ll make mistakes while navigating my way towards a finished product.
You see, the urge to write is strong, and my product, I believe, is a good one.
But I have little to no experience in what I’m about to do.
I intend to keep you updated all the way to the finishline and you will be able to watch me struggle to find the right path. I will likely change my mind more than once and like I said; make mistakes.  But at the end, I will have finished something I can be proud of.
Heck, I’ll be proud just because I finished, for once.

I hope to see you somewhere down the road. 😉
Thank you!
With love – Gry.
